I was born with congenital glaucoma and at the age on 7 years old, my right eye had to be removed.
I was diagnosed with glaucoma later on and was controlled for a very long time. Two years ago in August, I had a glaucoma attack and my pressure went up to 60. I had to have emergency surgery and have a new drain put in eye. The pressure was fine until a few months ago. I use one eyedrop 2 times a day and now the Doctor wants me to go on Alphagan P.
I’m retired and am on Medicare with a drug prescription plan and the cost of Alphagan P is $120.00 every three months. This is a mail order. I cannot afford this. I make very little on Social Security and am baley making it. Is it possible that I can get Alphagan at a discount?
