My daughter used the coupon for $10.00 off her perscription and was told she could not use it in Massachusetts? It does not state this anywhere on the rebate or on the coupon and I would like to know how she can get her $10.00 back? I have been trying to call to get assistance but getting bounced around to numorus numbers with no assistance.
Is there any who can assist me with this matter?
Thanks for your attention to this matter

My nineteen year old daughter really likes YAZ, however my insurance doesn’t cover any birth control pills. I just think $50 a month is very expensive for birth control pills.

Don’t you think $50 a month is worth paying for birth control considering the alternative $8,000 dollars to have a kid (quote does not include diaper cost, formula, baby food, clothes that they grow out of in a month)

I would love to know how you spend $50 a month without insurance because I pay $56 a month with insurance. But I love taking Yaz. It’s a really good pill. I used to get really sick every month before I started taking it, but now that I take it, I haven’t gotten sick at all.

I spend $60 a month for Yaz, I love it, that is why I don’t mind paying the money. The nurse is right. I would much rather pay $60 than 8,000 plus the normal things a child needs until they are 18. Remeber if you can’t afford it, you can go to the heatlh department, but you will have to settle with a lesser quality pill. -em

Try Yasmin, generic for YAZ. It is 1/3 the cost of brand name. You can buy it thru QualityGenerics.com. Do your research online before you spend your money. Drs get brandname drug kickbacks and dont tell you about generic unless YOU ASK! Its your money, either you keep it or they buy a bigger house and retire sooner on your money!

I am now paying $70.99 for Yaz and its rediculous. Insurance won’t pay for it because it is still new. It is one of the best out there but affording it is the problem.

There is no generic for Yaz!! I am a Certified Pharmacy Tech and take Yaz myself. It’s a great pill but if u can’t afford it you can get an RX for Yasmin, which is a sister pill of Yaz. It works almost the same exact way and comes in generic that is called Ocella. I am lucky to have great insurance and only have to pay $16 for 3 months! But I will be loosing my insurance in December b/c of my age and I will be switching to Ocella b/c its pratically the same thing! Also check with your Pharmacy–almost all big chain pharmacies have discount cards! Check at Rite Aid!!

Ok.
Yaz is AMAZING. I have taken a total of 6 different types of birth control pills, all of which gave me horrible side effects including depression and weight gain. On Yaz, I’ve lost weight and no longer suffer emotional side effects.
I, too, spend 70 dollars a month on it…And I have insurance! I know the price is ridiculously high, but to me, it is completely worth it. It’s the only bcp I’ve tried that works perfectly for me.
And Yasmin IS NOT the generic form of Yaz. And all bcp’s work differently even if they contain similar hormone combinations so you just have to try it and see how it works for you.

My insurance makes me pay $50 a month. I’m a college kid with PMDD & Yaz is the only birth control that seems to help. My options were to either pay the money or go on anti-depression medication. I feel that I am too young for such serious medication. So, my gyno told me about Bayer Savings Card. It’s great! I pay $25 a month! bayersavingscard.com I hope this helps someone out!

I take the generic Yasmin, Ocella. It is great I have no side effects and it only costs me $5.60 a month. If you can’t afford Yaz or Yasmin you should definitely check into Ocella!
