I have lost my job and have no health insurance. I have to take two 40/1100mg capsules a day, just to get by. I have been unable to find any assistance for this med, except for a $30.00 off coupon, which doesn’t help much when the monthly cost without insurance is a little over $300.00.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn’t there someone out there who can help those of us who do not have health insurance get this medication? It is such a bureaucratic rip off you drug companies thrive on. You put the teaser samplers out there through our physicians, and then bam, all of a sudden you can’t get the samples anymore…and we certainly can’t afford the full-boat retail cost of the stuff. A $30 coupon off of a $300 prescription, PLEASE !!! That’s like $3,000 to most of us. How about cutting the multi-million dollar salaries of the pharmaceutical gurus slightly for some financial relief to us average folks??? My husband has health insurance, but yet – this drug’s co-pay EVEN with his insurance coverage is still $100.00! What is wrong with this picture??? But then again, if your company has such deep pockets, you could care less about us desperately in need of medical help. Sure hope no one in your family ever has a medical condition that could easily relieved if it weren’t for the sheer greed of the big companies lining their own pockets with the hard earned money from us common folks.

Why does $20 worth of omeprazole + pennies worth of baking soda = $350 prescription that my wonderful (that’s sarcasm there folks) insurance won’t even cover? How can you possibly justify such an insane markup?

i take zegirid everyday (40mg) and it has basically cured me, i cant go a day without it as i have severe acid reflux and gastritis. Problem is, it is very expensive so im looking into alternatives. With that in mind, if zegirid was made more affordable, I think a lot more people would be taking it and profits would rise even more because though cost is lowered, much more of it is being sold. Ergo everybody wins!
